Dawnie Browne is a trained Teacher, BACP Accredited Counsellor and founder of Breath Perception®. A lifelong student of Meditation and Yoga, Dawnie has been researching the impact of Chronic Stress on Mind-Body Health, and the role of breathing in optimizing resilience, wellbeing and personal thriving, since 2005.
Prior to completing her MA in Counselling, Dawnie spent three years in Thailand studying Mindfulness practices endorsed by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence in responding to difficulties related to stress. This and her own personal experience provided the inspiration for Breath Perception®.
Since 2011 Dawnie has been running a Mind-Body Health Consultancy, Breathe4WellBeing, supporting individuals and organisations throughout the UK, as a Trainer and Therapist. She has given Key Note speeches at conferences for the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and is passionate about giving people back their power, by harnessing the natural resources that exist within us all.
